My mother and father built this Log Cabin in 1950 on the 'Quiet Side' of Door County near the the borderline of the Whitefish Dunes State Park. WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE AND PET FRIENDLY. As you look out the windows you will see beautiful Lake Michigan along with white birch trees, an assortment of evergreen trees, the sand dunes. The beautiful Sand Beach begins at your door. The sand on the beach is so clean that it 'squeaks' when you walk on it. You will absolutely love our beach! Relax and build sand castles with your kids. The water is very clean and the drop off is very gradual - ideal for kids of any age.
